Black Fire Opal

My inspiration for this manicure was some combination of Black Fire Opal and galaxy nails.

I used the same technique as I did in my Monet Nails.

I added (by hand) stars from Kleancolor Silver Star.

I used just about every sparkle, blue, and purple in my arsenal.

I think it's a cool look, but I'm a little undecided. Any thoughts?

Last day of 80s week!

My final look starts with China Glaze Beach Cruise-r from the summer neon collection (2012).

This is direct sunlight, a little pinker than it is really.

This is the most color accurate picture. On the pointer, middle and pinkie I added Kleancolor A Kiss Goodbye.

My ring and thumb and thumb have BM 223 in Confetti Silver Slippers.

80's Week Part 2

This was the manicure that inspired me to make a whole week dedicated to the 80s. Sometimes I'm jealous I wasn't alive for the amazing fashion that made up the 80s!

I started with a fishtail design using China Glaze Spontaneous, China Glaze Lemon Fizz, and Sinful Colors Why Not.

Because the fishtail turned out far from perfect (this was my first attempt) I wanted to cover it partially. I used BM 211.

I am completely in love with this!!!

80's Week!!!

This is China Glaze Pink Voltage. I absolutely love this neon pink. It has a slight purple iridescent, and was a solid 3-coater. 

I then added Sally Hansen Fractured Foil and Color Club Smash Hit. I used tape, I think I like it better on the nails where the black went over the silver.

I love this look and I got so many compliments on it!

China Glaze Ahoy!

I know I've been doing a lot of boring swatches lately, but I have some awesome plans for next week.

Ahoy! is a fuchsia with tiny red glitter. This is one of my go-to polishes because it is so easy and so pretty.

Mellow Yellow

Here are my pretty yellow nails. This is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Mellow Yellow.

I love yellow nails.

Sandy Nails

I have some more Elixir Lacquers. This is A Cool Fool over Tempt. I totally love A Cool Fool, it's a holographic glitter in a clear base. It can make any boring color interesting.

I was at the beach when I took these pictures. Yay summer!!
