Jessica Sunrise

This stuff goes on like a dream. 2 coats. I adore bronze-y colors like this, but it would probably be more appropriate for the fall. Oh well, screw appropriate.Yay pretty.

Zoya Avery Polka dota

I started with 3 coats of Zoya Avery.

My best friend says mannequin nails creep her out... I think they look kind of cool.

I then added polka dots, very small ones, heavy a the bottom and more sparingly towards the top. I used a black shatter (it's color club, the sticker fell off) on the ring finger and added some China Glaze Snow Globe (because what manicure isn't made better with some sparkle?)

...I think that's it.

Oh noes! You are gonna see my face!

I don't wear make up, not unless I'm going to a wedding or a funeral. I've recently decided to start wearing it more often, but then I realized that I haven't worn it since high school, so I have no idea what I'm doing.

Since I'm sure some of you lovely ladies know how to make pretty faces I thought you could help. I bought tinted moisturizer at Clinique yesterday (shade 02, not 01, victory!). I know I need a brush.

Now I need everything else. I want like a 5-minute face for everyday and maybe something a little nicer for when I go out.

Very pale, brown hair, dark blue eyes. Pictures here, no makeup in any of them. Any ideas very very welcome.

Thanks!!!!

Flowers flowers everywhere

Sinflue Colors Timbleberry is one of my favorite pinks. It is an easy 2 coater.

I added a bunch of flowers using Kleancolor Metallic Fuchsia, China Glaze White on White, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, China Glaze Light as Air, and Spoiled Jail Bait.

Yay flowers!

Summery

:-)

Summery is what my father, my best friend, and her father all called this mani. I guess that describes it pretty well!

I wish I could tell you what that color was, but I got it at Ocean State Job Lot, where you can get Essies for $2, but they are un-labeled.

Anyway, here are daisies:

Jessica Nails Gona Bare

I got this along with Indigo, Funky Town, Sunrise, and Shake Your Booty for like $7 at TJ Maxx! I also got 2 Nicole by OPI for $6. This might be dangerous since there is a TJ Maxx like 4 min from my house!

Nails Gone Bare took a solid 4 coats to be completely opaque and it definitely looked think with that. I hate shear polish, but if you don't mind a shear look I think it's pretty.

I then finally got a chance to try Nailside's freehand cloud design. She was one of the first bloggers I followed and is still one of my favorites. If you don't already follow her, check her out!

I used Revlon's Fall Mood and Sinful Color's Timbleberry for the outside and inside clouds respectfully.

I then added some glitter, because, you know, why not?

Color Club Otherworldly checkers

I absolutely adore this color!

I then used Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Black Out and scotch tape as seen by Erika. It's not super neat, but I do like the difference between the glitter and the cream.

I have no luck with nail stickers

Especially since now I can't find the name of these online.

Oh noes!!

I went on vacation and didn't want to worry about my nails, so I used these. They are supposed to last like a week, but I pulled mine off after 2 days because they were smushy. My boyfriend didn't like these, he said they looked like something a 13-year old girl would wear. I like them though, obnoxious is awesome!

Starting back slowly

Sorry followers, I've had a tough couple of weeks.

I think I'm going to relax on the schedule, it was overwhelming me. I'm just going to post when I have cool nails to post.

So this is Jessica Indigo. A beautiful royal blue that flashes purple in the sunlight.

I then used Nicole Make U Smile as a pseudo-gradient.
